What does a cover mean to a book? Well, for starters, we're not supposed to judge a book by its cover right? This is what we've been told since, I don't know, as early as we could all remember. It's funny how that shifts when you dabble in the world of literature and you make any and all assumptions about a book based simply by the cover artwork you see.

Getting a good cover design can be a coin flip, whether in the indie or traditional publishing realm. Every author wants something that catches the eye of potential readers. Something they'd see in a bookstore and beam like a proud parent. Well, let me just say, this proud parent is excited to share my new cover with you all!
